Once again we return to our Tour Baggage series with rising star, Will Wiley. The young UK talent has seen his stock rise dramatically over the last few years as he has become one of electronic musics most recognizable faces. Already Will Wiley has ticked off notable venues such as Fabric, Studio 338, EGG LDN, Ministry Of Sound, XOYO as well as playing regularly across Ibiza, Malta and even further afield.

Having had Will Wiley join our mix series at the start of the year, we thought it was only fitting to invite him back and find out about his year on the road.

The city I would love to move to one day…

Amsterdam really stands out to me as a city. Even though I only first visited this year, it seems like they are ahead of the game in the majority of things. Every time I’ve been since I’ve loved it. Everything just seems ten times easier and of course, the nightlife and people are unreal.

Another place which will always have my heart is Ibiza. After spending three Summers there it feels like a second home and I’d love to live there permanently.

I never get on a flight without…

I’ll never get on a flight without my headphones and my laptop. I can’t seem to be able to sleep on planes, therefore, I make sure to use the wifi-less downtime to go through playlists and sometimes even make my own music.

The most unique place I’ve ever played was…

The most unique place I’ve ever played to date must be ‘The Villa’ venue in Gozo. I’ve played there to the sunset twice now, both at ABODE on the Rock festival and it’s just unreal. The views from the villa are next level and the layout makes sure the vibe is wicked.

The daftest thing I’ve ever done while travelling…

I’d like to think I’m quite sensible, to be honest, but there’s been some stupid things along the way. Me and a few friends let Amsterdam get the better of us once and we missed our flight (last one of the night). We then had to spend a load of money on a place to stay / new flight.

The worst flight I ever had…

The worst flight I’ve ever had would probably have to be the way back from a Summer in Ibiza. Everyone knows what these are like, from twenty-five degrees on the white isle to eight degrees in a rainy London isn’t the most ideal situation.

The last place to blow my mind was…

The last place to blow my mind was actually STEALTH Nottingham. Everything about the club was wicked from the dancefloor to the green rooms. It sounded unreal and had a wicked variety of rooms. You could go from hearing pumping house music to the Shrek theme tune in seconds. Mental.
