As usual we search far and wide for the parties that catch our eye across the UK each week. As usual there is a host of parties to choose from, all bringing their own vision to UK dance music. This week we have parties across Birmingham, London, Glasgow and Bristol that have put together a mix of world class line ups, alternative production elements and piercing sound systems. MOTZ x Randomer and Clouds at The Cause, London

The Cause is a venue kicking up a lot of storm at the moment. Quite easily one of the UK’s most exciting spaces with it’s stripped back Berlin vibe. This weekend sees promoter crew MOTZ bring In UK based Randomer. Known for his warpy techno and weird off-kilter sounds that have made him a regular at clubs like Berghain. Joining him in room 1 will be Scottish duo, Clouds, Peckham based Manni Dee and MOTZ founder Jasmine Azarian.

10 years of woo at Egg London

In the spirit of cross club collaboration, Egg club have joined up with Italian outfit WOO! The club brand from Naples celebrates 10 years of parties with a celebratory tour. Joining them to celebrate is one of Berghains earliest residents, Marcel Fengler. Expect a range of industrial strength techno combined with softer funkier grooves. Alongside him is German based Jennifer Cardini. Techno, electro and disco are all prominent in her sets. This ability to blend different genres delivers a pulsating ride through the finest cuts in electronic music. Aldoina and club resident Kyle E round off the bill.

The Brickworks: DJ Seinfeld

DJ Seinfeld, real name Armand Jakobsson has been filling venues around the globe with the click of his fingers in recent years. His sweeping emotive cuts, verdant dancefloor workouts and discerning dips into jungle and breaks have won him a loyal following. Combine this with releases on labels including Meda Fury, Ectotherm, UN.T.O and Lobster Theremin and you have one of the worlds most exciting DJs. If your in Nottingham, you’d be silly to miss this party.

Amelie Lens at Lab11, Birmingham

There was fear for a time that the closure of The Rainbow Venues spelt the end for underground music in Birmingham. However it has been quite the opposite. Smaller parties have cropped up and filled the void and venues like Lab11 have provided a new sanctuary for ravers. As we welcome 2019 Lab 11 have announced a wave of artists and brands arriving at the venue. These parties fall under the E11EVEN presents banner and promise something cutting edge and forward thinking. They kick start things off with one of Belgium’s most exciting exports, Amelie Lens. She will be there All night long, delivering her pulsating, hands in the air techno sound.

Sensu x Sub Club: Floorplan in Glasgow

Legendary venues deserve legendary artists. Luckily Sub Club has no shortage of these lined up to play week in week out, cementing it as one of the UK’s best venues. This week promoter gang Sensu team up with the Water Street venue to bring Floorplan back to the basement. Last year was Lyric Hoods, Scottish debut. It was well documented across social media the moment farther / daughter duo send crowds wild with ‘Never Grow Old’. The Subbie faithful will be looking for moments similar from the legendary pair as they play an extended live set.

End of an era // System 11th birthday with Loco Dice, Voigtman & Josh Baker

This Friday marks Systems 11th birthday. The party has been at the forefront of Leeds nightlife for the last decade and is responsible for making, breaking and shaping nightlife in Leeds. With mint club closing down it will be one final birthday at the club and marking the end of an era. To go out in stye they have invited Desolat leader Loco Dice. Subsequent founder Voigtmann, Bobby O’Donnell and up and coming UK artist Josh Baker.

Viva La Disco with David Morales, Bristol

Viva La Disco bring house music legend David Morales to Bristol for a night of disco fever. Morales who last played Bristol 20 years ago has since gone on to become one of the most renouned artists in dance music. Considered one of the pioneers of house music, the artist who hails from New York has helped shape music on a global scale. Best known for his track ‘Needin U’, he has also remixed for over 500 artists worldwide.
