We love Tuesdays. Every week we invite a guest behind the decks to play some of the tracks in their record bag. Each week is a little bit different as the artists dive into everything from deep, groovy house to heavy, thunderous techno. That variety though is why we love Tuesdays. Watching different DJs showcase there skills in a way a club or festival space can often prevent. This week the job has fallen to Fly Club resident, Siggers.

Although still young, we challenge you to find a DJ that has done half what the industrious Siggers has acheived. Unlike most DJs who learn the ropes on home soil, Siggers developed his skills with a project abroad. Along with a small group of passionate music heads he launched Sundown. A series of dusk till dawn parties on the Portugese coastline. Over the next three years the parties soon became the stuff of legend among locals and tourists. These parties earned Siggers a reputation as not only a decent promoter but a quality DJ in his own right.

On moving to Edinburgh he was quickly snapped up by FLY Club as a rising star. He was soon playing main room gigs alongside Denis Sulta, Theo Kottis & Jasper James whilst never looking out of place. Since then he has become a fully fledged resident playing across the club shows. Those in the know will understand that Fly is a brand built around the residents. Its success has been the result of their ability to scout the UKs best talent and give them an equal platform alongside global headliners.

Outside of FLY CLUB, his talents have gained him sets at XOYO, Phonox & Cuckoo some of London’s best venues. He regulary ventures abroad for headline sets having played Après ski sessions for over a thousand ski- trip goers in Val Thorens at La Folie Douce as well as Club Malaysia. As with any house hold name it is not just about club gigs. The festival circuit is important to, something which Siggers has set in his sight. 2018 saw festival shows at Terminal V and El Dorado, culminating with a slot on the Trigon stage at Gottwood Festival alongside Jackmaster and Artwork.

Siggers is a kid with a lot of talent and the drive to match, so we are super excited to welcome him to episode 021 of our podcast series.
