The city I would love to move to one day…

I love Amsterdam. The City is beautiful and the people are open and friendly. They have amazing clubs and special locations like the loft in the A’dam Tower. The Infrastructure is great and their airport is fantastic. I could imagine living there for a few years but let’s see!

The last time I got into trouble with a hotel…

That happens quite frequently haha… mostly it’s about Late-Check-Out’s which are not confirmed and even if they are, sometimes they staff doesn’t know and knock the door after you just fell asleep. But nothing really unusual till today.

I never get on a flight without…

Never without my noise-cancelling headphones. I think nearly every person is wearing headphones while flying/travelling. It is quite noisy in planes and trains so these are pure heaven on tour.

The most surreal thing that’s ever happened to me while travelling was…

Was not a nice one. Earlier this year I had a show in the Netherlands. I played the closing set in the morning till 5. It was a 2-hour drive back to the hotel as we stayed in an airport hotel. Close to the hotel, our driver felt asleep and we hit the sidewall Luckily, nobody got injured but it could also have turned out differently.

The most unique place I’ve ever played was…

Kruz, near Izmir in Turkey. I played an extended set at a beach club until sunrise. The sun came up between the mountains and it was a very special vibe. People were happy and we danced. A beautiful moment.

The loneliest I’ve ever felt travelling was…

This was when I travelled for the first time to India in 2017. The moment the plane took off from Amsterdam I felt it in my whole body. It was a weird feeling because I was looking forward to going there. It held on for a second. I guess it was a mix of excitement and anxiety.

Visiting new places is super exciting and I’m very grateful to be able to do that.

The best hotel I’ve ever stayed in…

W Hotel in Doha, Qatar. That was really something else. Amazing Hotel!
