Episode 010 of The RRP podcast comes from East London DJ and producer Dainty.rip.

Born in Nottingham, the artists musical curiosity began with the cities thriving grime and bassline scene. Gradually he became a regular fixture at illegal parties and woodland raves. As an artist he constantly strives for perfection always watching with an inquisitive eye. This attitude saw the young prodigy quickly pick up sets in some of the Nottinghams most underground venues.

It wasn’t long before the Nottingham DJ decided to move to London where he has further evolved his DJ skills. His style has grown and developed having resided in East Londons thriving Hackney Wick area. His eclectic taste has seen him support the likes of Anderson .Paak and Hacienda’s Graeme Park. Now playing across a broader spectrum UK sounds are still a recurring theme with in his dance production and DJ sets.

Recently finishing a year long residency at Camden’s legendary venue KOKO, Dainty has taken time to focus on his own productions. His EP ‘Keep Smiling’ is to be released in the coming weeks. A new unannounced project title ‘Burial’ is in the works and things are looking promising for this young and exciting artist.
