As we hit December mulled wine is flowing, staff nights out are rising and the tunes are dropping. It is always a busy month for all involved in the run up to Xmas and New Years but especially for the promoters. This weekend sees some heavy hitting line ups up and down the UK. Where will you choose to go? We give you the low down as part of our Club Watch series.

RPR Soundsystem at Fabric, London

This weekend sees the capitals biggest promoters throwing some of the best parties of the year. December is on us and that means people are looking to celebrate. As usual Fabric are at the forefront of anything exciting and underground. This Saturday they welcome the Romanian contingent and their RPR Soundsystem. Rhadoo, Petre Inspirescu and Raresh the three artists who form this musical machine will be taking control for the duration in Room 1. Their stripped back sound combined with rolling beats has been at the forefront of the growing minimal movement. For most, the thought of RPR going b2b for 10 hours would be more than enough to convince you to spend your cash but Fabric recognise the xmas spirit and have gifted us a stellar Room 2 as well.  Dasha Rush and Manchester producers AnD will both play DJ sets, before joining forces to curate a live set under there ATTENTION DEFICIT DISORDER alias. This event is on till 10am so expect a marathon journey in one of the best clubs in the world.

DJ Mag x Nacht at Gorilla, Manchester

DJ Mag have teamed up with Manchester techno brand Nacht for a special all night long set. Inviting one of the leading lights from the booming techno scene, Dax J. Born in London but now a Berlin native Monnom Black label boss will bring his dark, crude, techno to Gorilla’s impressive venue space. We have recently discussed Manchester rejuvenated and budding scene. This is just another example of independent promoters putting on world class line ups alongside The WHP and making Manchester’s nightlife once more the envy of many.

Pretty Pretty Good at The Harley, Sheffield

One of the most prolific and dynamic promoters about at the moment Pretty Pretty Good have the North on lock. This weekend they bring Helena Hauff to Sheffields favourite intimate space, The Harley. This is a wicked venue shows similarities to the Golden Pudel. This famous Hamburg nightclub is where  Helena Hauff spent many a year honing her skills. No she has the ability to o energetically weave between acidic techno, neck-snapping electro and chugging EBM. It is no wonder she is at the top of her game and so in demand.

Limit x Revamp x WTS at Wire Club, Leeds

Three of Leeds biggest promoters have come together to deliver an Xmas special. Taking over Wire Club and the basement that has become synonymous with Leeds clubbing. Roman Flugel is their esteemed guest and he needs no introduction. Nevertheless his reputation for his chameleon approach to music. Constantly blending different genres, from ambient/idm to house, techno, electro and leftfield. He is the perfect selector for a December night guaranteeing the dance floor will be grooving throughout his extended set.

Subculture at Sub Club, Glasgow

Sub Culture is much of an institution as the Glasgow venue that plays host to it every Saturday evening. Hosted by legendary duo Harri & Domenic, it is the same residency in the same basement for the last 20 years. The only difference? The huge amount of guests they have invited along the way. It has become something of a ritual for international artists to be invited. The hallowed headline is almost a seal of approval for your achievements to electronic music. This week German veteran Henrik Schwarz, will come and show why he has such an outstanding reputation. His versatility and music knowledge is a spectacle to be hold. If your in Glasgow make sure to get down to see this musical genius.

Crack magazine return to Bristol taking over world famous institution, Motion. Every trip to Motion is guaranteed something special. This Saturday is no different. Iconic Detroit legend Jeff Mills take control, alongside German Danilo Plessow aka Motor City Drum Ensemble. Ectotherm label boss Courtesy, Disco lover UMFANG, Tokyos own Powder all pile onto the bill as well. Gideon a mainstay of the ever popular London underground scene, Lullabies label founder Izabel complete what will be a night filled with heavy hitters and energetic sounds.

Twitch at The Palm House, Belfast

Two female artists, currently taking dance music by storm hit Belfast this weekend. Avalon Emerson & Or:La will take over The Palm House for Irish promoter crew, Twitch. American born Avalon Emerson will headline proceedings delivering her new wave techno sounds. These beats are responsible for her rapid rise to fame and reputation as one of the most exciting artists in the scene. Derry born, Deep Sea Frequency boss, Or:La brings will offer her more than capable provide support. Her recent growing success has featured a series of  genre-spanning sets with her selections destroying dance floors across the globe.
