Hunie pres. Dimitri from Paris at Southbank Warehouse, Sheffield

Sheffield will receive the mitres touch this weekend, with iconic disco heavyweight Dimitri from Paris landing in the city. Known for a catalogue disco masterpieces and remixes the Frenchman will be bringing high energy set to Sheffield’s Southbank Warehouse. Fresh from announcing his latest project ‘Le Chic Remix’. A compilation of edits and remixes from party starters and full blown legends Chic. We expect feel good vibes, eternal love and all things disco with the king of dance.

Hidden x Lo-Fi with Jeff Mills at Hidden, Manchester

Jeff Mills is probably the most recognized protagonist of the Detroit techno scene. A founding member of the infamous ‘Underground Resistance’ collective and a dance music pioneer. He has a unique ability to explore the realms of music and art. With his sets heavily influenced by space and sci-fi. This week Hidden and promoter Lo- Fi make a serious statement. The techno legend will be diving deep into the darker realms of techno with an extended set. If you are in the 0161 and you want something game changing, this is the one for you!

ENRG presents Four Tet & Daniel Avery at Invisible Wind Factory, Liverpool

This weekend on Merseyside, ENRG two of dance musics biggest hitters to Invisible Wind Factory. Kieran Hebden aka Four Tet will play all night long in the Main Room. Four Tet is one the most diverse and in demand artists around. A producer and DJ known for his impeccable ability to weave together disparate elements into a timeless masterclasses. If Four Tet alone wasn’t enough, Daniel Avery also goes all night long in the Sub Station. In his early days he had a residency at the prestigious Fabric. He has since gone on to takeover the worlds dance floors. This year he releasing his critically acclaimed album ‘Song for Alpha’. Its rare you will find two artists of this calibre playing all night on the same bill. Serious shout out to ENRG for this!

 

Animal Farm : Rodhad Sub Club Glasgow

The dancers down in Glasgow are no stranger to big hitters. This weekend, Animal Farm deliver bringing in Dystopian don Rodhad. Known for delivering the perfect balance of nails techno and thundering industrial sounds. Rødhad’s sets have garnered an impressive reputation across the globe. His ability to lift the dance floor has helped him become a regular at the infamous Berghain. Expect heavy hitting productions to rock subbies world famous bodysonic dance floor.

 

Labyrinth presents Keinemusik The Steelyard London

After a memorable debut show last year, it made sense for Labyrinth to bring back Keinemusik. All four members of the crew, Rampa, Adam Port, &ME and Reznik will grace the recently renovated Steelyard. Its always a mixture of decent music, good crowds and no pressure partying when Keinemusik get together. Buckle up and prepare yourself as this is a winner this weekend, no doubt about it.

 

Exhale at Fabric, London

This weekend sees the debut of Belgiam superstar, Amelie Lens new project titled Exhale. As an artist she is one of the most in demand acts in the world. Her loyal fan base has been forged through thunderous, energetic, inventive big room sounds. Her love for floor driven techno is obvious in the talent she has invited along to Fabric. It is the sort of solid line up we have come to expect from Fabric. Glaswegian duo Slam who have been pushing the scene forward since the late 1980 will play alongside Matrixxman. Also on the bill is Osgut Ton long time servant Kobosil, as well as Cleric and Farrago.



Midland All Night Long at Hare & Hounds Birmingham

For the first time of 2018, Midland will be returning to Birmingham to grace the turntables of the intimate venue Hare and Hounds. Owner of record label Graded, Midland is a dj who is very adaptable with a catalogue. His record bag spans garage tinged house, juiced-up disco and melodic techno. Over recent years, Midland has earned some serious props. His essential mix in 2016 was named mix of the year. While his fabriclive 94 mix showed up in best of 2017 lists from Mixmag, FACT and Pitchfork. For anyone in Birmingham this weekend, this party is a must do!
