Once a year the entire dance music community stops, up sticks and heads to the city of Amsterdam. 5 days of networking, hundreds of discussions and thousands of parties. There is no doubting that ADE is the ultimate music conference, a platform designed to showcase the latest advancements, hottest acts and act as a melting pot for promoters, managers and artists to discuss their ideas for the evolution of dance music.

It is no surprise that every year the promoters that descend on the city compete to raise the bar. Bigger line ups, better sound systems and even more obscure venues. However it is a local crew by the name of Audio Obscura that consistently hold the crown for use of the most creative venue. This year the team will convert a former prison near Amsterdam’s Amstel Railway station into a massive three day rave location.

Bijlmerbajes prison, will host three parties between Thursday, October 18 and Saturday, October 20, with the first night bringing to the courts Seth Troxler and Honey Dijon. The second day of the event will host Electric Deluxe’s Speedy J, Rødhåd, Jon Hester and the British Clouds. The final show of the three-day run will be headlined by the Russian techno queen, Nina Kraviz.
