Tuesday’s are always important days in The RRP offices, given it is the day we invite an artist behind the controls for The RRP Podcast. However, this Tuesday marks a special occasion for two reasons. First, it is our 40th episode a feat we are rather proud of. Secondly, the date coincides with our first birthday. Therefore it gives us great pleasure to invite one of Italy’s finest imports onto the 1’s & 2’s to celebrate in style. Dario Dea marks a year of The RRP & 40 episodes.

The Italian-born, London-based DJ is a modern selector. Cultured and well versed in a variety of genres. His wide range of styles allows him to roam across a diverse musical plane. Afro-house, Italo disco, progressive melodic basslines are all a feature of his well-travelled musical pallet.

15 years of musical experience and production has given Dario Dea an understanding of the dance floor that most artists spend careers trying to ascertain. However, this knowledge comes from a wider mastery of the dance floor & not just his production. He has been born from a dance floor rather than a studio and this is why it is no surprise that he is behind some of London’s most underground parties.

Fragments & Paraffe make up his two current projects. Of which the former is bringing Theus Mago & Alan Dixon to Cell 200 in November. He also holds a monthly residency on .bloop radio which allows him yet another opportunity to showcase his output to his ever-growing fan base.

A proper DJ & serious selector we are as excited about what the future holds for the young Italian as we are to go dance our way through this mix.
