It is that time again. The RRP Podcast returns and invites another talent from the world of underground music. Episode 013 welcomes our first female artist preforming under the stage name of Oscines.

As an individual Oscine is a grafter, a mover and a shaker. Her rise through the DJ ranks has been fast but no one can argue not well deserved. She first started Djing at university and quickly secured sets across London’s most prestigious venues. XOYO, Proud Camden and Micks Garage are just a few that welcomed her style of melodic techno and house music.

For those that aren’t aware Oscines is the mind behind London, techno brand Attique. A small but hugely respected party that promotes social responsibility. Raises awareness and acts as platform for change via music. The brand has been going from strength to strength with a educated and well informed fan base supporting the brands every move. Attique is a regular at London venue The Cause as well as throwing parties across the UK with an upcoming show in Manchester just round the corner.

Oscine is comfortable playing across the full spectrum of electronic music thanks to her ability seamlessly stitch together her impressive record collection. However over the last year her sound has developed and morphed. Now her sets regularly feature more of a raw industrial techno sound. This transition is in part due to her regular attendance at parties such as Kaos and Superstition.

The mix, which we have had on repeat since it landed in our inbox, is a reflection of the music currently on Oscines musical rotation. The likes of I hate Models or Love Under Black Helmet that bring together hard-hitting industrial 4×4 with soft Melody. This is techno at its finest and a taste of one of the UK’s most impressive up and comers.
